I have 95% of my transformers out of the box and displayed on wall to wall shelves except all my armada minicons, classics minicons/legends and other minicon size figures are all stored in a box but i am trying to display them all together away from larger figures like its own shelf's, but i'm kinda tight with space. I was thinking of shelfs that is skinny and small, extending of the wall about 2-4 inches, vertical and horizontal about 4 feet.

Maybe i can custom make it or if you guys know if a place sells something like this? What are some of the ways you guys display minicon type figures??? And if you guys have any pics that could help? it would be greatly appreciated.

I'm also trying to display them in away that light can get to almost all of them and have them all in robot mode.

I've looked at this for years and found several costly solutions. Unfortunatly all the items I've looked at have beem made by people in the UK, I'm sure you'll have better luck finding one in the USA.

Cheapest and best solution I fould was a custom made display case with a mirrored back-board, plain base and shelves, which an acrylic cover then slid over.

Mate, you should get one of these.
My dictionary tells me they're called lettercases in english.
They're generally less than 2" deep and perfect for mini-cons. :thumbs2:

maybe the staggered display for spices. should be cheap at walmart.

    The Container Store > Expand-A-Shelf®

    Okay, maybe not so cheap.

For me, I just connect my minicons to my unicrons, megatron/galvatron, tidal/shockwaves, metroplex and prime+overload.

these are often referred to as shadow boxes as well and that might work but be warned the size of the boxes varies as for me my Mini cons are on Unicron

I would go with tiered acrylic shelves mate. I use those for my Robot Heroes and they work really well.

If you've got an arts & crafts store in your area (Michael's / Garden Ridge) you can check there for those hangable wooden display racks as mentioned above. Generally you'll have to stain them yourself (if you want to protect the wood), but they are inexpensive in most cases.

Having a rather large Mini-Con/Micron collection myself, I just devoted one entire shelf on my wall to the little critters. Downside is I ran out of room before I finished setting it and I put the shelf above it rather close to maximize wall space so some of the Mini-Cons in the back are harder to see.

Here's some pics of what I'm referring to:

Nice, you have the megolo's but don't have Booster v3?

I probably have about the same amount as you but different ones.

You could try and look up thimble display cases. My mom collects those wretched things... but the shelves are perfect for Minicons!

Myself I use wine cases! But I don't have the space to display them all seperate...

I have about 30 minicons, so they're usually just grouped by teams (like the Sea Mini-cons are together, etc). They're on my smallest shelf in the front, though, which makes reaching into the back (it's a small shelf) a real pain, so I only put the figures I rarely play with (like Movie 1 "Premium" BB and the beat-up Side Burn Who's missing a foot)

I tend to display my minicons attached to the larger figures

if they combine I combine them and have the combined mode be held by the larger figure(other than the Perceptors)

It was only Universe 1.0, Universe 2.0, and Classics that did not give enough pegs to display 1 full team per figure. For those I usualy just have the minicons standing infront of all the others

Cybertron,Armada, and Energon all had enough pegs to put a full team on each figure of the corrisponding faction. It also saves space this way, and I have all the minicons teams ever released in America(and a few dozen Japan minicon exclusives as well).

I used to have them like this all over a shelf... problem is minicons tend to fall over in a domino effect

I keep my WSTs on a regular shelf standing on "risers", well they're not really risers but small strips of wood painted black but they function as risers.

I also use spice racks painted black for my "Mini- Seekers", Meijers & Walmart usually have these with the kitchen stuff but it can get pretty pricey if you need a lot of them (bout $10 each)

size referance for the 2 types of figures:

Before moving, I had all of my minicons on a dvd/media tower. If you have the room, Big Lots has one that is about 5' tall, 4'wide and has about 10 shelves for around $40. Wal-mart has several different sizes also for less, just not any as large.
