Customs: NEED ADVICE: Which paint remover is the best?

    You know it's also very dependent on the application and the experience. If you don't want risk, easy off is the best bet but the con is it's not at all for spot removal.

    Alcohol is great for spot removal but is risky in soaking (it weakens the integrity of the plastic the longer it soaks). Something more for an experienced or confident crafter/modeler/basher.

    Acetone is really the best if you have a clue on what you're doing. It can remove any paint app but hitting the sweet spot time wise with it is risky. People have had parts melt waiting too long and not waiting long enough is pointless. Probably best for people with years of experience and not worth the risk if you know how to use sandpaper and the above things.

    Wee bit of acetone on a toothbrush maybe? As is it looks fine enough for a paint over.
