I used RID Scourge's trailer. You can put the peg into one of the two square holes on the rear of the truck, behind the knees.

Leader Prime is more in scale than Voyager, so I guess that would be the "regular" one

A 1/43 scale toy truck trailer should be pretty close. You might have to drill a hole in the fifth wheel, to be able to tow it, though.

I found out 1/32 is the closest scale that would look OK

    Ebay:
You could chop the trailer a bit, but that'd be a bee-yotch to do. But, there are some semis on the road with LONG trailers. The best bet, if you can do it, is to get another Optimus Prime to use for his wheels and measure out the trailer you want and build it.

Since Classics Prime, and Movie Voyager Prime (my favorite version) are about in scale you could use one of the options people have used for him. PM Redline as he custom painted a Classics Prime and made a trailer for him. See what he might've used.

Here is a search on eBay for 1:32 trailers, and one that I found that could POSSIBLY work.

you want 1:43 NOT 1:32. check my sig, that's a voyager prime there, and its pretty much the same size alt mode. its in scale for a 53' trailer, which is REALLY common.

THANK YOU very much for clarifying that! I'd like to get a trailer for my Voyager Robovision Prime and maybe customize it a bit. Thanks for letting us know the right scale.

Yeah, it's 1:43 scale, the company that makes it is New Ray & you get them on Ebay. But as you can see, it fits the Classics voyager Prime perfectly & the movie voyager Prime NOT so perfectly.

    Ebay:
I'm guessing the discrepancy is because while both are Voyager Primes, their truck modes are a different scale. Classics is a Cab-over semi, while Movie Prime is a longnose Peterbilt... in real life, the Long-nose would be FAR larger than a Cab-over.

However, at least now I know where to look for a trailer for my Classics Prime :D

yep. but its the best you're going to find really. if you want to go down a notch in scale, its going to be really hard to find as its not a commonly used scale. 1:53 I think. But, just think of it as an update to G1 prime, his trailer is entirely too tall as well *L*

Actually, I find that trailer to be a little too narrow for both of those. It's worse on the movie version. That trailer is not too tall for movie voyager Prime. Movie Prime has a fairly low roof, compared to most trucks.

I'm planning to scratchbuild some trailers. I've got a large sheet of 2mm styrene to use. I just need some wheels. I'm actually looking at some 1/64 scale die-cast construction vehicles as a source of wheels.

The 1:43 trailer in my pictures above is too small, wouldn't 1:53 be even smaller?

yes it would. 1:43 works perfectly for classics, but for the movie, its a little too small.
