hmmm, I like the designs of the ones that came out about 5 years ago--but I forget the name of the studio that did them. still waiting on my dhalsim, honda, and zangief to complete the set.

Aren't these the same figures that came out 1 or 2 years ago, only with different heads?

:EDIT: The figures I'm referring to are the 'Revolutions Preview' figures by SOTA. These look a lot like those. Hmm.. I'm still more interested in the upcoming Revoltech SF figures.

Those are :puke:  What were they thinking? SOTA fumbled so bad with the license, but when they actually released figures they looked better then this.

Viper looks good from that pic... but I won't bother with figures SOTA already released.

Revolution Round 1 is out in the US today. Get them while you can! I hope these are better quality than the SDCC versions. The horror stories I've heard...

Let NECA handle SF for a while. They are doing the figures in the SF4 art style. At least we shouldn't get much of the mistakes that the new SOTA has made with the license.

Even the old owner, Jerry is making stactions of the remaining SOTA SF characters in a grass roots effort to finish what he originally set out to do--make all the SF characters.

I think the figures have great accuracy to their designs, however I think the true fault is the style that the characters were designed in. I was never a big fan of it, it screamed, "hey we are bringing those guys BACK with overdone muscular anatomy, cliche spray paint, ink style design work and textures in the background, and freaking HUGE GOD DAMN HANDS OMFG HADOKEN WHAT? JUST PUNCHES THE DUDES PUNCHES HIM EH!...". Man...I miss the old art teams.

I read that in the voice of the "Late Night Sausage Party" bit from Conan O'Brien and I laughed breakfast right out of my nose. :D

Design aside, I hope the game is fun. I miss SF.

They look pretty good, but I really wish Capcom had done some design changes on the characters.

Viper is the only one I'm interested in as these look like just another Ken and Ryu figure.

If these figures are around the scale of SOTA's, I may pick them up.

I'm late to the party responding here, but the Revoltech SF figures are not all that great. They're really fragile for Revos. I wanted them to be good, but I just can not help but be disappointed in the figures.

Stick with SOTA if you can or have to choose.

I am saving up money to buy the SOTA Zangrief, Dhalsim, and Honda. After these 3 my SF2 collection will be complete and I'll be done with the line. As for the new line of SF figs.. no thanks.
