    It's definitly cool, but I think that Jupiter's Great Red spot has this thing beat for cool extraterrestrial red things.

    Really it's not that suprising though, to see something near perfectly symmetrical. Space is so infinite that there should be an infinite combination of shapes for things like a nebula.
