yeah right...hahahaha. repeat baby. you're talking the best defensive backcourt in the NBA now and a bunch of 7 footers defending the rim.

The Cavs and Rockets are going after Trevor Ariesa.

I forsee a repeat too, though the Celtics are hot after R. Wallace. Ben Gordan signs with the Pistons. That's a nice backcourt too.

Being a Laker fan just keeps getting better and better. And LOL at Cleveland failing to sign Artest or Ariza!

How the hell did they not? I'm mean, they are like one or two players from getting a championship. I'm sorry but Shaq ain't going do it. This is like his 18 year in the NBA. :lolol

Totally agree LioK! I think word around the league is Bron Bron isn't sticking around past this year so no one wants to really go to Cleveland right now.

So Lebron is going to the Nets to hang with his buddy Jay Z? Or the Knicks? I've even heard Mo-town. Who knows for sure.

I am a huge Bulls fan amd I'm a little optimistic that Ben Gordon is leaving. Gordon is a good player, but he is terrible defensively. This also helps the young players(Rose, Noah, Thomas, Rookies) to be better scoring forces and an overall better team. I look for the Bulls may be a free agent factor next offseason. I'd like to see the Bulls get Amare Stoudamire.

On the other hand, Cavs still won't be a championship team. Lakers will be good again, but won't win the championship. Rockets will be much worse now that Artest is gone and Yao is injured...again. Pistons still suck. Since Portland is my 2nd favorite team, I hope the Trail Blazers will be a top team if they get the right pieces.

The only thing that can make this better is they found and signed younger clones of Kareem and Magic.

Not a big Laker fan but I like Phil Jackson and here's hoping he comes back to take the Lakers to another title and adds more rings to his collection....greatest/luckest coach ever to have the players he's had.

But being a Bulls fan I would like for them to either make a push for Shawn Marion or Amare Stoudamire but keep some money left for next year when D-Wade becomes a free agent and bring him home back to Chi-Town. It would be great to have D-Wade and Rose in the backcourt with Deng/Stoudamire/Noah in the front court

I love this signing. Even if Artest has lost a step or two he's still way better than Ariza. Ariza was a journeyman prior to joining Lakers and there's no evidence that he will put up All Stars numbers one day. He's very good in a triangle offense and but remains to be seen if he can fill Artest's shoes in Houston. With Artest Lakers got tougher defensively and add another vet who knows how to create his own shots, shots well beyond the arc, and can clamp down on opposing team's best player. Along with Kobe Lakers may have the best defensive duo in Basketball. With 2 straight Finals appearance Lakers ought to be tired and worn out now but with Artest hungry for a title the Lakers will have the motivation to repeat as champions.

Wade to Chicago? I've haven't heard about that. I'm big Wade fan, and he needs more help too on that Heat team. Stoudamire to the Heat would be better. :D
