Whatever you say boss. It doesn't hurt to sometimes give credit when its due. Trust me, it'll help you go further in real life.

Boom! Raps currently sit atop the East, gonna bask in this one for the moment as this is historical for us (even overall we're only be 3.5 behind GSW, so hooray for that!). 3...2...1...and done basking, back to business.

Even before those trades I wasn't taking Cleveland lightly, I obviously still stand by that (especially come playoff time).

Raptors have to get past Cleveland first. I dunno the season head to head record so far though.

EDIT: First game, Cavs lost 99-133. Oof.

Steve Kerr is getting a ton of flack for letting the players coach themselves against the Suns. Maybe that wouldn't happen if the Suns weren't such a bottom-feeder that gets rolled by 40 on a nightly basis.

I've heard that it was a common practice to allow players to draw up plays (LeBron did a lot of that during the Blatt period) but outright taking command of the entire game was unheard of.

I personally don't think it's as big a deal once in a blue moon.

What happened to the Suns? I remember the ol days with Barkley, Dan the Man and Kevin Johnson. Even the more recent ol days with Steve Nash, Shawn Marion and Amare. Who do the Suns even have now besides Devin Booker and a couple washed up vets in Dudley and Chandler?

Was not a fan at all of the all star game tbh. Idc if players arent playing defense. Not 1 player elected was because hes only good on defense. I wanted to see alley oops and dumks by steph instead i felt like i watched another regular season game. Yea sire the ending was cool, but the amlunt of times i got excited was way less then last year or years prior.

So apparently Dwight Howard spent his All-Star weekend playing pickup games at my school's rec center. Half tempted to drive over and say hi lol.

Well, I know LBJ got the MVP soooooooo............. ;)

Besides that though, they played way more defense than I've seen in an all-star game in awhile. Still not enough imo. I know personally, I don't wanna see a shit ton of dunks with no defense. They have the dunk competition for that. My son, who's 13 kinda said the same thing as you did though, he was there for all the dunks pretty much.

I remember all star games of old where the players would get after it, especially in the 4th. Imo, I'd rather it be the most intense game of basketball you've ever seen with lock down D everywhere, then you'd really see who the best of the best is. I know that's never gonna happen though for many reasons.

Best All-Star game since the one where Kobe and LeBron went one on one. Hope they keep this format and intensity next year.

I just fill like you can watch a regular season game to see that. I liked the all star game so much in oast years because it was watching players i liked perform cool dunks, or bomb it from 3 and it was just “fun” to watch. I feel robbed of not seeing curry attempt a alley oop rhis year.

Was skeptical about this new format but seemed to work out. Got to see the best players actually play BASKETBALL competitively right down to the wire.

Just dunks? Bombing 3s? We got Saturday night for that. Players goofing around? Just catch em taking it easy during the practice...but that shit gets old and boring fast (see also: past ASGs).

Game ended with KD and LBJ doubled on Steph. :lol

I like this. When else can you see all the top flight players all on two teams going at it? And prize money for charity? What's not to like?

They need to show the draft next year though.

The dunk contest was wack, and the 3pt contest is not the same at all.

    To each there own though.

Yeah, and they need to show the draft for the next game. I think they do something similar for Hockey and the last person picked gets a new car... or something like that.

Oh, Fergie... What have you done? Draymond's face says it all.

As Simon would say, "that was so cliché and cabaret..."

I'm still waiting for Swaggy P to show up consistently.

The guy isn't contributing anything but bricks and turnovers.
