    Make the robot modes of the cars look like dinosaurs. 'Nuff said :D 

    Hell, Ravage and Scorponok never had robot modes (Except Scorponok, but that's offscreen continuity) so I could see this idea working for them.

    But honestly, I'm not too fond of this idea. If there's gonna be dinobots I want dinosaurs, and if they're gonna have dinosaur modes without robot modes, then give them a big-ass vehicle mode to transform into like an APC or a tank.

    There aren't a lot of things that are feasible that would actually make me walk out of the movie, but that idea is one of them.

    I would be quite fine with these guys being Dynobots. Grimlock, Sludge, and Slag. Actually, it really makes sense and the names even fit, for the most part. As long as they did justice with the robot modes I think it would be a smart interpretation. Besides, maybe we can get the real Dinobots in Transformers: Prime.

    those cars cant be dinobots, they are to small. Grimlock should be atleast as big as Megatron if not demolisher,

    Really don't like this idea. Hate it. Fuck. That means they're probably gonna it.

    I think they're Triggerbots/Triggercons... Largely forgotten characters that can be used without causing a huge fan uprizing. I seriously doubt they're Dynobots... if they were to go with a car concept, they would need monster trucks or at least muscle cars.

    I could definitely get behind that idea. It might be a bit too obscure, but it'd be a perfect fit.

    If I remember correctly, the Triggerbots/Cons were teams of three.

    Not to mention they had the pop out weapons... so IDK. Seems like a good fit.
