NASA Optimus Prime
optimus is the Pimp shiznit for kids now it seems....
not one person thinks this is neat?
I didn't like how they made the CGI, but looks cool to me
We've talked about this before: NASA And Optimus Prime Collaborate To Educate Youth – The Optimus Prime Spinoff Award - Transformers News - TFW2005
But the video is new.
Nice to see Optimus becoming a General Audience Cultural Icon, nice for Mr. Cullen too.
But the CGI was a bit odd looking for some reason.
looks pretty good
Pretty cool way they market it for kids and schools.
Kinda reminds me of those "Knowing is half the battle" advertisements back for G1.
Cool nod by NASA. Also since this is just a quick TV spot, im okay with the render for Prime.
the cgi was odd because it was done at a much lower than movie res, and they only used one static pose that looked as if it was was to big to fit in the room he was in. He also looks more super imposed on and less in same shot
of course that more then likely had a budget of nothing after paying for cullin so I think that they did a pretty damn good job
Man, that's some sub-par animation of Prime. It's like can only move his torso side to side.
But, bonus points for Peter Cullen doing it.
Optimus is even more robotic when used by NASA.
they got Peter Cullen but no ILM? Lame.
How very cool!
