I had always secretly wanted additional gestalt for the Autobots back in the late 80's & 90s, after seeing that Decepticons gestalt team far outnumbered the Autobots. Hence the idea to create a new batch of combiner team came (even made few simple sketches of it as a kid)

You just have to name your team, allegiance, individual figure's name+alternate mode (and perhaps a brief bio) and their Combiner name. Be creative, wild, silly, just about anything; nothing is wrong or right :p

I'll start the ball rolling by introducing my 5-bot team, The Reptobots of the Autobots! Created by an unknown Autobot refugee during the pre-Beast War era to battle the menace of the beastly Seacons & Predaking, the Reptobots stand as both a gamble & hope for the Autobots when help is least expected. Together, they form Archosaur, the combined form of all savage and monstrous!

    1) Name: Swamplurk
    Alternate Mode: Crocodile
Leader of the Reptobots. Possesses great strength and courage; shows no
    pity to enemies

    2) Name: Constrictor
    Alternate Mode: Anaconda
Combat Strategist. His sheer brute force is concealed by his cool
    appearance

    3) Name: Shellshock
    Alternate Mode: Giant Tortoise
Weapon Expert. Not so great in speed, but make it up by immense
    endurance & firepower

    4) Name: Clawbreaker
    Alternate Mode: Komodo Dragon
Tactical Warrior. A bot driven by only savage and lust for kill

    5) Name: Ripslash
    Alternate Mode: Marine Iguana
Marine Combatant. A stealthy fighter by nature, expert in finding prey in
    critical times

Kickass names and concept! But that sounds more like a Decepticon combiner to me! An Autobot snake just sounds wrong to me! :p

I was just going to say the same thing.

    • Possesses great strength and courage; shows no pity to enemies
    • A bot driven by only savage and lust for kill

I love the descriptions, makes me laugh a little when i think of this team being on the side of humans.

Technically I believe the Dinobots was no docile initially as well. plus it was an era where Autobots was reduced to rumble, and they had to resort for the ultimate saviour in their darkest hour. Human context was never a consideration then

A few years back I created a gestalt team for a world event on a MUSH I was on at the time. While the concepts were admired, ultimately my creations weren't chosen because they were far too extreme. We ended up getting The Infesticons, which were basically super-powered Insecticons that merged into The Swarm. Anyways, here's a quick synopsis of the team I made.

    Team name - Toxicons

Aftermath - Heavy Weapons Specialist, Engineer, Pilot
    Vehicle Mode: Mammoth type quad-tank
Primary Weapons: Turret-mounted rail gun (x4), anti-air MLRS pod (x2)
Notes: Fixes equipment and vehicles for his team. Lazy and unmotivated.

Fallout - W.M.D. Specialist, Pilot, Team Leader
    Vehicle Mode: ICBM missile truck
Primary Weapons: ICBM rockets w/variable warheads, anti-personnel machine guns (x4)
Notes: Teleports prefabricated missiles from his base to his launcher when in combat. Enjoys the suffering of weaker creatures. Loves his job.

Genocide - Biological Warfare Specialist, Melee Expert, Sniper, Combat Medic
    Vehicle Mode: Medi-vac helicopter
Primary Weapons: Laser-guided rockets, vapor canisters
Notes: Concocts airborne strains of biological and mechanical plagues. Soft-spoken, reluctant, masochistic. Fascinated with the theory of organic evolution, but he acts otherwise. Loves plants.

Hazmat - Biological Warfare Researcher, Defense Expert, Combat Medic
    Vehicle Mode: Ambulance
Primary Weapons: Vapor canisters, sludge guns (x2)
Notes: Field tests Genocide's inventions. Fascinated by biological constructs and how they die. Brilliant yet clumsy. Bipolar.

Wasteland - Heavy Weapons Specialist, Pilot
    Vehicle Mode: IAV Stryker
    Primary Weapons: Variable ordinance packages.
Notes: The perfect soldier. Speaks only when required and does the task given to him.

    Holocaust - Toxicon Gestalt
    Function: Warfare Specialist
Primary Weapon: Amalgamation-Cannon, the combined form of his comprising units main weaponry.
    Melee Weapon: Depleted-uranium halberd.
Notes: Holocaust's body serves as a conduit for a sixth member of the team. In reality Holocaust exists within the mind of each Toxicon, always seeing, hearing, and feeling what that member experiences. When the Toxicons merge each apparition of the Holocaust mindset is able to flawlessly integrate with the others. This allows Holocaust to know exactly whats happening and what must be done as soon as he is assembled.

I've got more in-depth descriptions on these characters somewhere, but these guys were conceived years ago. Fun fact: My avatar is actually the team insignia I designed for these guys.

That's a pretty hardcore technological mech alternate mode. cool one there. although the ambulance mode doesn't seem to suit the allegiance the bot is in, but hey, I must say I like idea. Remember that once upon a time (G1 people, G1), cars = good guys, jets = baddies; now fast forward, we are blessed with Tf as it is now

The Rouges: This was back in late 80's/early 90's A mercenary combiner group.

Leader: Road King (I know it's been used but this was back in late 1980's)

Second in command:Speedtrap-high performance sports car (left arm)

    Rap-Tran (left leg)-subway train

    Special-Delivery (right leg)-box truck

    Cargo (right arm)-city bus

I have to find the scematics on them later on. I had to really think hard about the names it's been years since I thought about them.

I know, the ambulance is a bit off, but that was the idea. You need that one guy who can get around crowds without being noticed - Aftermath and Wasteland definitely have bad disguises as far as alt modes go. As for the Striker, to be honest I dont remember what the vehicle itself is called - I always knew it as a Striker. The AWE part was thrown in there out of force of habit; it actually shouldn't be there; the AWE Striker is a dune buggy from GI Joe. I don't remember the company that makes them, but the vehicle I'm referring to is similar to Breacher (Ratel IFV - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia).

Edit: It's a Stryker( http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Stryker) - yeah, there we go. Typos make all the difference!

    DinoKING! All 5 Dinobots........!!

Immensely more powerful than any other combiner! Can take on Devastator, Piranacon and Predaking without breaking a sweat!

Can even go toe to toe with Fort Max! Will be a good fight, but everyone knows Fort Max would win :gen069:

His alt mode is a mixture of Prime/Ultra Magnus. I'll try to look up the info for the Rouges but I don't remember where I left it at. Like I said it's been years since I've seen it.

    Ebay:
    TraumaTeam
(kinda like the Protectobots, just a bit...beefier.)

    Gurney- Medic
    Alt Mode- Box Ambulance
    (Right Leg)
Jovial joker with attitude. has a fondness for Gangsta Rap/Club Music and...Korn.
Carries a nonlethal disruptor gun. he believes in incapacitation over outright killing.

    Kudzu- Survivalist/wilderness rescue/tracker.
Alt mode- Brush Fire (4WD, off road) truck
    (Left Leg)
Quiet, but not modest. does not like urban sprawl, prefers open territory. dropped anywhere, he can adapt and thrive unlike any other. De facto leader in crises.
Carries knives and hatchets to build booby traps. but has a combat shotgun firing acidic pellets. He sometimes "borrows" Ticker's drone for strategic/tactical purposes- and to great effect.

    Skeeter- Aerial Ops/Firefighter
    alt mode- OV-10 Bronco airplane
    (Right Arm)
In addition to being a fire fighter that uses lakes and rivers to douse 4-alarms, Skeeter is the scout, sniper and go to guy for a fast response.
Don't call him "waterboy"; he packs 4 cannon in his wings, which he carries in robot mode. He's confident, not cocky. but likes to showboat a little for the human children.

    Ticker- Hazmat Expert
Alt Mode- EMS Support Unit (Large hazmat truck)
    (Left Arm)
Bomb Disposal. Toxic waste, gases, fumes, even a blown sewer, Ticker is a fixer. He's a nerd who likes the icky or the stuff that ticks. Ticker just likes troubleshooting. (and shooting Decepticons- they're trouble, right?) Has an independent rover unit stored in his truck to get into tight spots or tunnel underground. packs a grenade launcher and 2 shoulder guns.

    Reach- Firefighter/TraumaTeam Leader
alt mode- 100' aerial ladder platform truck
    (Chest/Head)
He's sometimes called "over-reaching" by the team because he sometimes steps out of bounds to save lives. He has heart, he just has trouble connecting with his team. When not hosing down high-rises, he's hosing down Decepticons with a 7 barreled cannon and a 6 slot missile rack.

    Crash Site- Combined Form
The name ain't poetic, just brutally honest. Where he appears, there's going to be a Crash Site later. Crash Site's personality is that of a braggart who likes to swap licks with anyone who wants some action. Will fight fellow autobots for fun. did i mention he's a douchebag?
wields an energy pick-axe and arm mounted blasters.

Let me go dig up some notes... ah.

ANSCHLUS is an enigma. His blocky, almost featureless exterior gives no clue to his altmode - if, indeed, he even has one. Giant, short-tempered, and violent, he nominally allies himself with the Decepticons, yet always seems more distracted by personal issues.

Anschlus has a problem. As a gestalt entity, he is formed from the bodies of the Razorcons: the strategist Shatter, psychologist Discord, shocktrooper Junction, mechanic Dissector, and their leader Wasteland. However, he prizes his autonomy above all else - given a choice, he would never disassemble back into his components. To this end, he's illegally modified the Razorcons' bodies and minds so that they are physically and mentally damaged, infected with an overpowering psychological desire to recombine if they are ever separated. His hope is that one day he will be able to transfer all five sparks into a single body, and make his cohesion permanent.

Unfortunately, after a firefight, Shatter has gone missing, his tracking unit smashed. And all indications are that someone's helping him remember who he used to be...

I'm picturing a super truck, something like the one in M.A.S.K (can;t recall the name, sadly) a good choice for a gestalt leader, definitely. especially if it comes with equipped with weaponized trailer.

Individual bios please? Let it be a different dino mode other than our present Dinobots please! Me want Dino lurveee~~

I made one a while back as a Decepticon answer to the Dinobots; they didn't combine originally, but that can be easily fixed! ;)

Prehistocons - mechanical extinct animals. All become wild & rampant during combat.

    Combined mode: Mesolisor

    Members:

Droprock - Mammoth. Leader & amateur tactician of the group. Falsely believes he is more intelligent than Onslaught; who he shares a mutual hatred with.

Sabreclaw - Smilodon. Second-in-command. Enjoys engaging in conflict with allies. Obsessed with destroying the Dinobot, Swoop.

Cut-Throat - Terror Bird. Fast & agile in both modes. Specialises in ambush attacks. Former understudy of Bludgeon, before reformatting.

Piledriver - Megalodon. Silent & slow when not in battle. Especially vicious during combat. Uses large claws to great effect when combined with great strength. Has been know to kill allies on the battlefield for fun. Formerly named Sid.

Tear-Away - Wooly Rhino. Big. Dumb. Takes orders. Doesn't speak much.
