I recently won a lot of micromasters on eBay. Transformerland was useful for identifying all of them for my database save for one. This one:

((Sorry about the pic quality, cameraphone, and moving cat))

Can anyone ID this bot? I fear it might be a mini con or whatever. If so, it goes into my son's pile.

    Thanks

That would be Longarm from the Giant Planet Minicon Team from the Cybertron line.

    You got minicons, son.

Honestly, you should have been able to tell. It has an INTERESTING transformation.

What I meant was that you should be able to tell it's SOME kind of minicon just because every micromaster has the same transformation. The sides of the car/jet/van/truck ALWAYS become the arms, the head and feet are always in the exact same spot, and there's always a big screwhole in the chest.

yeah if the tiny figure has what looks like a Target logo molded into it (center), it is a Minicon. Also look for the minicon symbol on it (the "m" on the left).

I seem to have a blind spot for names of most Micromasters and Minicons. Probably one of the reasons why I couldn't get much joy from the Micromasters comic 'cos I couldn't remember who was who and who was doing what. What is it about the little robots that makes me unable to remember most of their names? I have the same problem with Nebulans too.

Probably because Hasbro reuses names like crazy in naming these guys. For example, Thunderblast was used twice in Cybertron; one for the female dcon boat and the other was a minicon jet.
