Evening all. I am in the process of building a 'quick and dirty' 3d computer model of a character and need to give him a name. He was inspired by a conversation I had with a friend about how different 'generations' see prime, To the two of us he'll always be a freightliner truck n' trailer, and to others he's a gorilla, fire engine or a blue Mack with flames on........ I decided to create a character that referenced as many primes as possible...... He's a red truck like G1...... extended hood like the recent movie version..... fire department decals like Energon or universe or whatever(i was having a break from TFs at that point) Gorilla robot mode to please all the beast wars fans out there. his amazing teleporting trailer will be a water storing one.....kind of referencing 'Pepsi' prime I suppose???? So any ideas on a name?? and if anyoner can think of any other Op Primes i've missed out, let me knjow and i'll try to shoehorn them in too!!
What about making part of him a ute, a la Alt. Prime. Also, he must have a Surfboard/Sword accessory. He also needs twin cannons to ref. Cyb. Prime. As for a name, i really have no idea.
I'm liking Parallax....references G1 Primes axe hand...so double win. Damn you Alternator Prime!! by a complete stroke of luck, his transformation process means that he does have large, vertical shoulder pads, so that's Alt prime inadvertedly sorted!!!!! Also forgot to list Animated prime in the list of Fire Dept ones... Haven't gotten round to building his trailer's base mode, but I might give him 4 'roller' type drones as a homage to that Prime that combined with his trailer drone-things......don't know which line he was released in, I'm afraid!! anyway, some quick cell shaded renders.....final pics will be lit better and given a more realistic feel
The 4 drones were Energon Prime, aka Fatimus Prime. Still needs the CYB Prime reference. Also, are you possibly adding a second trailer, like God Ginrai? If it turned into wings, that's CYB Prime sorted right there.
Great image! I'm looking forward to seeing more of the character. I especially love the colors and general shape of the robot mode.
What about blasters in the trailer instelf? Would Reference Cyb Prime as well as Machine Wars Prime and again Laser Prime. As for the Dronelets, I thought he was Megazordimus? Just ask Blaster and Steeljaw.
Fatimus + Drones (x4) = Megazordimus Prime! I still think either giant cannons or wings would ref Cyb Prime better, if oinly because even after having a few Cyb Primes, it's sill taken me a while to remember the cannons inside his trailer.
