Does this really surprise anyone? People are really lazy and what's the best way of not doing work while not having to pay someone to do it? Forced labor/slavery, though the British used to call that indentured servants.

If that Indonesian Woman didn't want to get beaten, how come she was disobedient? If she had just done her work properly she probably wouldn't have had to eat all those peppers. Good help is so hard to find.
You're forgetting that having the celebrity job class with the athlete sub job class is an automatic get out of jail free card. That's one exception to the rule XD Paris Hilton doesn't have the athlete sub job so she's going to jail.

What’s wrong with some of you people? How can you blame the enslaved for any part of this atrocity? This is an absolute abomination and should utterly disgust us all! The only joke that is acceptable is about the punishment that these criminals will endure when imprisoned for the duration of their life.
It really is a shame, but stuff like this happens all the time in this country. And it always seems to be people in the same few ethnic groups enslaving people of their own race. We had a Chinese buffet closed down here a few years ago, because the waitresses were all slaves or endentured servants. While I do agree that their joke were inappropriate given the gravity of the situation, I do think that you are being way too sensitive. I don't know why some people feel they have this God given right to not be offended. We have something called freedom of speech...get over yourself.
