Yeah, having both, I'd say Scaphoid > Silverhorn Sentry. But it's all based on preference. As I've mentioned before I dig the skeletons in this line, so I'm predisposed to like Scaphoid. I like the fact that his color scheme is half Skeletor-homage, half just a nasty, toxic, poisionous look. He brings a nice bit of bright neon coloring to a ML shelf, and to the Skeleton forces as a whole. As an added bonus, he comes with both a standard skeleton head and a hinged-jaw version.

There's nothing wrong with Silverhorn Sentry. He's a fine figure. But his hoof-feet and top-heavy antlers make him just a smidge more unstable to stand than some other ML figures. And I feel like his default helmet is so specific to the dwarf characters that it feels slightly out of place on him. The optional secondary head has the same issue, actually, since it's the familiar sinister-looking helmet that three of the other knights use. If anything, Silverhorn feels kind of like a prototype of the Faunus character that's in the current Kickstarter.

But ultimately it's all preference! Quality-wise both figures are fine, so it boils down to which faction/colors/character-type you prefer.

Mine was super loose but he's a fun figure. My second fave out of the ones I decided to get.

He's okay? If you're planning to get Faunus in the Kickstarter I think he's a must have, but otherwise I'm not sure how he's worth having.

All-in prices have been announced. $1315 US and $1612 international (shipping included). Actually a bit less than I was expecting.

EDIT: If my math is right, going all-in via just add-ons, the total for US buyers would be $1428 (with no multi-packs, just one each of the figures and weapons packs). So going with the all-in option is a $113 discount. Not terrible... that covers almost four figures' worth.

Thanks guys. :thumb  Scaphoid it is. I'm going to pass on Silverhorn. Actually kind of relieved I can pass him up.

This thing is outta control. It covered a stretch, and another un-revealed stretch over night.

Anyone else thinking of picking up more goblins since we have bonus heads to display with?

I am very happy about the helmeted goblin head bonus. Before I thought the goblin legion builder looked too unique.

Well said...that sums up my feelings too...but now I'm thinking of getting the six pack and displaying (3) with helmets, (2) with the original heads and (1) with Knubnik's extra head.

Maaaaaybe. I usually limit myself to only two of the legion builders. But those head options do make it tempting.

My current plan is all-in package plus one extra each of the elf legion builder, goblin legion builder, and skeleton soldier builder. The extra heads do make it tempting to pick up a few more of some of the figures, but at the moment I'm trying to resist.

Wooo! Standard bucket head helmet for B'alam unlocked! Now I can just make him a snazzy purple knight and not a cat dude.

    Assuming the tail's removable.

I agree though, it does make him more appealing.

Yeah... I assume it is, but you're right, we can't be sure. Part of me wants to mail them and ask, but that seems silly. :)

EDIT: Heck with it, I mailed them. I'll post if they write back.

Heh, could be kind of funny to have a helmeted knight who seems human by all appearances until you see the tail hanging out the back.

Man, didn't have any interest in that figure at all, but now I kind of want it.

Just over 5 Hours left to go in the campaign, unlike the 1st Mythic Legions Kickstarter I had to go all in for this one! The sheer variety of characters, females and creatures meant much few duds for me. Plus many of these figures are now getting additional new weapons and heads with each end stretch goal getting blown away! The pic below doesn't even show everything, there's still the two final figures and the weapons packs.

Quick question: have they shown a colored picture of the fully helmeted Elf Legion Builder head yet? Can't remember and can't find it.
