Well not really, but this is the worst fire season that i've ever seen in the 30 years I've lived here. Albuquerque isn't in any danger, but at night when the air gets cooler the smoke in the air blankets the city. Smells like a campfire and it rains ashes. It's like living near an active volcano. This fire is probably the closest to me and the first pic is a view from my neighborhood.

Yeah the cloud is insane. Fortunately the closest city was evacuated when it first started, but they've since repopulated.

Wow. I hate fires. We've gotten it pretty bad the past few years. I the the FD from New Mexico has been out here to lend a hand.

Yea, I went to Albuquerque to help my brother move into his new apartment. One day, it was REALLY ashy, and it smelled like the outdoors, and stayed that way until nightfall.

It's definitely pretty crazy. That fire is huge. We need some effin rain already to at least help a bit. Past few days have been all weird and humid but without rain. That's sucked. Hopefully the end of that fire will come soon.

My boss told me her husband is on his way over there for 2 weeks. He's a fire fighter in Santa Clarita, Ca.

I think arizona has it worse with two duststorms and drought and fires and other parts of the nation are in floods.
