Yesterday I went to Wal-Mart for the first time and could not believe what I saw.

I had been looking for a few figs (unsuccessfully) so I decided to head out the extra five minutes past my Target to the Wal-Mart.

There were so many figs I had been looking for, but just couldn't get everything, you know? I really wanted the Legacy of Bumblebee but opted for figs I didn't have yet. (I have all figs except for the Classics BB, It would be my 2nd Ani BB and 3rd Movie BB, but thats not my point).

    Here's my main point.

There were soooo many people. I could not move around, the aisles were so tight. The toy aisle was THRASHED! Luckily the stuff I wanted was in a center piece type thingy but I was like, "WHA- ?!" It was like pandemonium, people pushing carts in front of me everywhere I walked. It was a crazy experience. Other than the toy aisle being thrashed, I found the experience kind of fun. It felt like extreme shopping. It wasn't as tranquil (or boring) as Target sometimes could be and I did find stuff I had been wanting that had been out of retail at my Target for a good long while.

I'm really thinking I NEED that Legacy of BB pack though :(

My walmart is also like that. Every time I leave the place I feel like I want to pull my hair out.

Luckily I only go there for exclusives and maybe if I can't find a figure I want anywhere else.

I usually just go at 2-3 in the morning when the place is empty and I can peruse at my leisure. Plus, that's when they put the new items out, so I can pick and choose fresh from the case. :scalper

That's why I like Target more, but the closest one (that actually stock regularly) is in Cary, about 15mi from where I live.

So I have to live with Wal-Mart.

And yeah, the aisle is always thrashed when I go too. I saw silly string residue over some figs, Animated Bulkhead's box was tor to shreds with the instructions hanging out, and I saw a Classics Powergilde with the box dented in the lower right corner.

I usually go at the hours of 12-4am, that place will still be busy on a friday at 3am, it's weird.

That is what I do. I go there late at night or sometimes 5am in the morning. But the only problem about going at night is their shelves are empty in their grocery department. I get mad when I go there to pick up one thing and they are out of the product.

But during the day, it is terrible. People get in your way and they won't move, especially the people who rides the little electric go carts.

I buy my groceries from WM at that time too, day time's too crowded to get any shopping done. Only drawback is the lack of cashiers and the fact most shelves are empty or the aisle you wanna go down is sealed off due to the floor being cleaned :(

Oh god, one of ours in town is the worst with that. Sometimes when they want to clean this big center isleway that goes straight from entrance and between clothes and groceries, they will make the space for you to get to the grocery side at the absolute BACK of the store. Not to mention those stupid propane uber sweepers and their god awful smell and sound.

I would get less peeved if they would take one night of the month to do all the floor cleaning. Something locked in where you KNOW on that night that the store would be closed, like maybe the end of the month.

God I hate customers SO FRICKING MUCH! "Oooo let's just take this and then not put it back where it belongs! Then the store will look like shit and I can go complain to the manager and then the stupid employees will get in trouble!"

Sorry... I work at a grocery store and the customers there are complete morons.

I feel your pain. I work at CVS, but the pain is all the same. I also love it when a customer gets furious that I don't know where something is EXACTLY located, how much it costs, or if it's on sale. I am 99% of the time on register since we get extremely busy and our shelves are rearranged all the time, not to mention sales change all the damned time!

As for on topic... Our Wal*Mart, though it can get crazy, is actually pretty clean. I've never really seen the toy isles messed up, but then again, I usually come in on Friday or Saturday morning after they've stocked. I don't think I've come in at the right times to see it blown up.

If I see something knocked down or something, I try to help a little because I know what retail's like and it sucks. :(
