Decided to take this guy off the shelf today to fiddle around with, but there is a problem, his missiles will not stay in his guns, at all. I could force them in as far as I could but even then, when I angle them downwards, they just slide right out.

Is this a matter of tightening the screws? I really hope so... I don't want to have to pay $20+ for two guns...

Mine does that, too. But only one of the guns. It didn't use to be like that. Sometimes when I'm transforming him one of the missiles will randomly shoot out and hit me in the eye.

Un-screw it and look inside if the spring isn't flat straight that's your problem. That happened to my modified movie megs and I straightened it and it worked fine and now shoots really far.

Yep, I've had that problem with my Robovision Prime for a while now... I fiddle with them for a few minutes and finally get them to stick, but they'll go off at the slightest touch.
Not to mention, recently I've had some troubles keeping the driver's door closed. It tends to pop open sometimes...

Despite these issues, he's one of my favorite figures from the line. Go figure.

    K back.

    I epic failed.

Upon trying to open the gun, I didn't notice the end of it was molded shut, the end piece was molded on the two others. Why? I don't know. I do know that the thing shattered when I opened it.

So it looks like I do have to spend $20 on two small guns.

And the spring was straight and still springy, as far as I could tell.

I have no problem with the missiles, but the door happens with my First Strike. :)

The reason I posted in this thread is to say that my Universe Dinobot has the exact same problem as the one I quoted. Is it a fix for all missile TFs?

You are lucky, you can just return it and purchase another one.

    I cannot.

*facepalm* Ok this will be hard to fix..... superglue? And why so imapient? In times like this look for the part of the plastic that connect, use a hobby knife to split the two parts and don't continue I repeat don't continue until you find those lines.

The spring in the gun on my Leader Class does the same thing. I said screw it, left the missile out and ended up taking the gun off. He looks better with it off anyway. Besides, it just slides over his hand when it's "activated".

I don't have the gumption to go and fix it. If anything, I'd just end up removing the spring and supergluing the missile in place, or leave it out completely, either way, these springs are becoming a pain in the ass.

*facepalm* I don't WANT to fix it at all. It is completely shattered, unless you are a master of putting back little tiny pieces, it is impossible.

Why so impatient? I wasn't impatient at all, I began opening it where it could be opened, and kept going thinking no parts were glued and/or molded together. There is a little line at the molded part, so that kind of faked me out.

I forgot. But after reading about what happened to Mechabreaker's, I think I'll just leave the missiles out.

Aren't the smokestacks his missiles? (I don't know seeing as I don't own the figure) If that's the case, I'd just glue them in place and be done with it. I'm used to launchers not working (damn it, that's what we grew up with!) so having it be a nonworking gun is the norm.

To Bumblejazz: Yeah, even if you tried, you would need to cut through a rather thick peice of solid plastic. Pretty hard.

To Animatedfan: His smokestacks are attatched to his guns, which shoot out a piece... I'm not exactly sure what it is, as I am not into trucks.
