Just got a package from Topps including the 6 sketch cards i get to keep and a free box of the movie cards

    wEE

    hehe

so here's the cards they gave me back :D

    pretty slick! :p
I did most of my cards in sharpies. the blue and red are from just a couple prismacolor markers i got. tried to add a little bit of highlighting with a white colored pencil but the blue of the car was pretty light so it didnt show up as well as i would have liked

ah well. a fun job none the less :D

hope you dig it! [and hope you find some in the card packs ;)  ]

    Those are really cool...

So you are supposed to draw on them?

so what's going on with these?

did you draw those sketches, and Topps turned them into cards? or did you draw on like, blank cards or something

    what's the story with these

they gave us a ton of blank cards and we had to draw on them

so what you get [if you find one] are the actual cards the artists drew on them

mine probably drip with the stench of sharpie xD

Really? Wow. So the ones you got back they obviously didn't pack up? How many others did you do? They must have done this with a ton of artists if they expect anyone to find them.

    Good for you though. Congrats!

    yeah

they sent me 306 blank cards in total. the 6 i posted are ones i got back and get to keep. The other 300 are randomly inserted into the card packs.

i think these are all the other artists
[they've all contributed anywhere from 100-500 cards each. i think they say its like a 1 in 72 chance of getting one or something. pretty crazy]

Can you provide a link to the specific product that these appear in? The movie cards that I got didn't say anything about artists sketches but I'd really like to support what they are doing. Just don't want to be buying the wrong cards.

    Thanks.

The ones I picked up were at Target. I believe it was 7 cards for $1. I'm not sure if these are the same cards though because the package didn't say anything about sketch cards.

The ones that i got the sketch cards from came from a hobby box that i purchased through a card shop. I know that they sell packs at Target and there's 6 or 7 cards in each pack and they are $1.99 per pack and they have movie Optimus Prime on the front.
