Michael Bay's Transformers Review - YouTube

I've been a huge fan of this guy's videos for a while now, but this is probably the most biased and uneducated review I've ever seen him do. Many of the things he says make no sense. For example, he says that Jazz talks like a rapper. By rapper, does he mean African-American? Because if so, it's kinda racist for him to stereotype all rappers as being African-American. He states that all of the Autobots are all out of character, but he doesn't explain why. He also stated that Megatron was never a jet in any Transformers series, but hasn't he seen the Machine Wars figure, pictures of the prototype G2 Megatron & Starscream, Transformers: Robots in Disguise, Transformers: Energon, and Transformers: Cybertron? He also states that he was angry at the fact that the Transformers weren't the center focus of the story, but doesn't attempt to research why in any way aside from stating two made up arguments that make no sense.

So if your a youtuber, and a fan of g1, your bound to have a video bitching about stuff you hate, as well as comments.

If I saw a truck with flames on it I would just know that there's more than meets the eye with it. Haha.

 

I must admit, I do like how he got into TFs the same way as me: Beast Wars. I will never forget those mornings in the first grade...

 

Indeed.   Just because it's not a car you see everyday doesn't mean a person's gonna look at it and say "yup, that's a robot."

This is why i just ignore sites like rotten tomatoes and youtube reviews etc especially when it comes to the transformers movies I know theyll just anoy me and degrade my enjoyment of the movies. Its clear this guy has nothing better to do with his life. What a douche.

 

He does come off to me as a douche sometimes. Look for his review for ROTF on YT and read the comments section. He actually said that anyone who likes this film didn't pass second grade.

It's not that he's got a different opinion, it's that he's being an idiot going about it, know what I mean? Well, judging by other people's comments at least.

 

Yeah, several of this reviewers complains about the movie seems to be things he either mis-interpreted or missed the explanation given in the movie entirely. Like Simmons saying they had sabot rounds when they were getting ready at the dam being the reason their weapons could harm the Transformers during the Mission City sequence. Or Scorponok's disguise being a part of Blackout's vehicle form, while his scorpion form is actually his robot mode.
