I've never seen that. So did Blaster erase information or kill all of Soundwave's little friends?

You would think he would have better copy protection than that. A huge erase button on his crotch isn't exactly secure.

the whole episode was about these people who use bad singing voices to accomplish anything. soundwave recorded their 3-part harmony for destruction, but Blaster got the better of him.

Though he was an evil Decepticon, Soundwave didn't support the RIAA's digital rights management software.

:lol  That was one of my favorite episodes, only because Sound Wave actually found something he would compliment. I think Galvs shouldn't let him retire on that planet

One bad, terrible, downright bloody awful episode in almost every respect. But a fun clip.

Yeah... I mean REAL tape players are usually better laid out than that.

And I gotta say, that's one of the most blatant examples of inappropriate touching I've ever seen on Transformers. I wonder if Soundwave feels violated? :)

That episode is great for a laugh. A perfect example of everything that was "wrong" with 80s animation, namely the inconsistency and sometimes silly plots.
Also, Broadside used his aircraft carrier mode for what could only be about one of two occasions, and he made good use of it. Take that, Devastator!

Check the size of Blaster in the 11th second of the clip. You'll have to pause it.

I think he was supposed to be really high up in the air and thus would look smaller from that perspective. The fact the animators screwed up and put his cell over the soundwave cell instead of behind it didn't help.

    :lol

Watched this episode the other day and my wife & I both wondered why Blaster didn't just record the sound and use it against the Decepticons.

(I know, we not supposed to question things like this in 80's cartoons)

Last I checked, cassette players don't have erase buttons in the 80s.:peoples:
