i read some where the reason we have peter cullen as prime the fans
whined and complained... why couldn't bay do that for welker
hugo was good in LOTR as arwen's father he played elrond
i'm having a hard time seeing him voicing megatron....
old school is peter cullen and frank welker if they picked david kaye
i'd been happy, any die hard fan will tell you that then again i could be wrong
everyone wanted frank do voice megatron.. i know i'll get slammed over
this post i always do.. i hope frank voices a decepticon

Omg thats sounds to good to be true, seriously I love it, how awesome, a true megatron voice it would sound like!!!!!!!!!!!!

 

At first I was really pissed off about it until I saw that it was awsome and plus frank welker would sound too cartoony but he should do soundwave in the sequal.

 

I actually really glad they didn't pick David Kaye...I respect his work and he did a wonderful job in BW, but I couldn't get into a G1-esque Megatron with that deep voice. That Youtube clip is pretty cool...I still wish Welker was Megs but I can live with Weaving if it turns out to be true. It's only a movie afterall, I can always go back to my G1 dvds to hear Welker at any time.

 

I dont care what anyone sais, I always hated the original megatrons voice. It was almost as bad as RID megatrons voice

Weaver has an amazing voice, and reminds me a lot of david kaye, but a step up, which is perfect for the movie  

 

I was all for welker until I heard that clip that was released of him trying to do megatron again. it was awful. he doesnt have it anymore, so I can see why he wasnt picked. it was the right choice.
