Several months ago I lent a "former" friend of mine the complete Star Wars collection and as yet I have not got them back this guy said he had moved them and I was very annoyed with him and a few weeks back I decided to visit him and ask for them and his reply was "I don't know where they are" and I am still angry with him :mad

Wait...let me try and understand this...you "Lent" your complete Star Wars collection to somebody???? As a Star Wars collector/obsessionist, I don't even "lend" out a single figure...let alone a complete collection... Um, if you don't mind me asking, WHAT THE HELL WERE YOU THINKING? For some reason, I am still not understanding why you would even "lend" out a complete collection. I'm sorry if I am sounding like I am yelling at you(not intended), but, I just am not understanding this...and I am a very understanding person!

Jump on his bed when he's asleep and shoot him with one of those 80lb bows.

Don't worry too hard. Once the Blu-ray Collection comes out in a year or so you'll feel a whole lot better.

If that doesn't make you feel a whole lot better, demand he replace it.

P.S. Future reference, never lend anything to anyone you can't let go. Alot of people out there confuse lending with giving. It pisses me off. Which is why I lend nothing to nobody. Not even family most of the time.

Also, alot of lendies, tend to lend. But NOOOOOO not their stuff ... your stuff. Which probably explains why he doesn't know where it is. Kiss it goodbye my friend.

No, the favor would be if he kept 1-2-3 and gave back 4-5-6.

Its surprisingly easy not to watch Star Wars movies once you break the habit, I stopped a couple of years ago because LD transfers look like shit on my HDTV and it doesen't really bother me anymore.

Time is better spent watching movies I haven't seen before rather then rewatching ones i've already seen 50-odd times.

    Ebay:
My best friend asked me to keep his Star Wars toy collection- and I did that for 5 years as he lived in a duplex just off campus and had no room.

    we had a mutual understanding.
because he was so Anal Retentive, i would check his collection from time to time (where i live in the south, bugs and things are everywhere) but would not touch his action figures.
But i would take out his AT-AT and AT-ST, and the X-Wing, and play with those.

bettah than rent money for those boxes.

But since you are talking movies, man, just drop the f-bomb a couple times and without letting us know, save yourself a lot of money and shame by reacquiring 1-3 via *ahem* "alternative" methods and getting new copies of the O.G. trilogy.

    LOL.

fyi: alternative methods= "borrow" your cousin's copy or something. I am not implying torrents or that stuff....

The recovery of my Star Wars collection

    Hi Guys
I have some good news that creep has finally returned my Star Wars Collection and I was very annoyed with him I told him the next time you want to borrow anything like DVD's go to the video library and hire them but don't expect me to lend you anything again cause I will not oblige him and as he was about to leave I told him don't let the door hit you on the way out. So you guys don't have to worry about it now it is back in safe hands and I will not lend anything to anyone again you have my promise on that
