Aint they the same thing ? I have the TRU one thats why i didnt bother looking to get an encore one.. Whats the difference between them ?

 

I'm pretty sure that the Encore version accepts a more G1-accurate single cassette while the TRU version accepts two. (I guess for the TRU version they didn't bother modifying the cassette door from the Soundblaster mold?) The TRU version comes with Ravage and Laserbeak too.

For the most part, I thought the figures were the same, i have no idea about the cassette door differences if any... my main goal is the extra Ravage cassette.

I figure since both versions seem to sell for about the same price, that somebody out there might be looking to complete a set like I am. Worst case, I'll just have to try selling it for the same price it'll cost me to acquire a new one.

 

Should just put a want ad up for a ravage cassette, Im sure some people are selling him , would be cheaper then looking for the whole set

Encore has the same body mold as the TRU, with the exception of the flat single cassette door, which oddly is connected by hinges on the outside of the torso, rather than on the inside like the old Soundwaves that were sold in the US
