my little boy almost 2 (super young) chose Prime as the Transformers he wanted to watch!
I tried RiD and Rescue Bots but he tuned out.
Prime though captivates him, I mean no idea what is happening and he laughs at the scary/bad moments. But he is watching it!
    Just wanted to share

Same, my 2 year old would rather watch Prime than RID or Rescue Bots too. She's almost 3 now and has marathoned Prime more times than I can count! I don't mind :D

Do not doctors in your countries suggest such young people should not watch a TV at all?
I do not say I agree that "five years old- five minutes per day", "18 and older not more than two hours a day",- this has nothing to do with the reality,- but still.

TV is suggested to be limited. They suggest for 2 reasons, 1 has something with limiting due to vision problems it may cause. The other reason is because the child is staring at the TV instead of learning or interacting with others. It's fine as it's limited as you say. They say at 2 you can start watching TV. TV is not supposed to be a babysitter.

My kids loved Prime. They can't stand RiD. For all it's posturing at being a "heavier" Transformers drama, my kids were simply more invested in it.

The animation style might be why. The special effects and the more realistic humans and cars.

Make sure you warn him there are major plot holes! Oh and no one ever dies(after cliffjumper) just so he isn't disappointed or throw a fit.

He's two, I doubt any of that really matters.

Anyways, nice! Prime was a pretty good show, although season three was a let down for me. That said, it was the last great Transformers show/even movie that we had IMO.

my 5 year old wakes up early as hell every morning and watches the 86 movie before my wife and I wake up. The other day, I was lifting and watching Prime... My boy walks in and his eyes doubled in size. He was hooked!

I remember going thru this with my nephew, when he was 5...I got him all the older series as they became available. He watched them so much he knew every word. He knew the series better than I ever did. :)
That was oh... 8 years ago...how the time flies.. but they never forget who showed them Transformers. He's still a fan and collector now.heeheeeeee
