Hey guys, I just started collecting in December, so I don't have much, but, I finally got my shelves organized enough to have them look like a display! :lol

I have a lot of loose ends like random Armada, Cybertron, and Energon figures that really didn't have a place with the "mostly classics" displays, so I left them out, but, hopefully when I move in July I can have a "random case" or something, haha.

but anyways, like I said, not too much, but I'm happy with what I've got so far:

Haha, gotta love how this is a "start".

Oh yeah, and now for my obligatory... "It's Jetfire!" comment.

You're collection is certainly off and running since December!

I'm curious, what got you into collecting around this time?

If you could let me know what ones, I'd appreciate it. I've really been trying to finish out the line, so your help, especially with a collection like yours would be insanely appreciated man.

In the mail I've got coming:

    - Legends BeachComber
    - Universe Silverbolt
    - Universe Countdown
    - Universe Darkwind
    - Universe Onslaught
    - Universe StormCloud
    - Universe Red Countdown
    - Brave Mugen Calibur for Roadbuster
    - IGear Delicate Warrior for Arcee

Outside of that, I really don't do "repaints of _____ as _____" Like the Universe Springer and Roadbuster.

Well, I've always liked TFs. I grew up on them... over the past decade or so, I'd picked up one or two here and there. I guess, it's just around December of last year, I was out and about shopping for people's gifts, and I saw the Generations figures. I bought Prime. Then I took Cybertron Prime out of some boxes, and put him on a shelf... then I took out Cybertron Megatron... from there, I was like, you know what, I've always wanted Cybertron Galvatron...

From there, I started searching ebay, and google to see if I could find a deal, and for some reason, my search actually pulled up a member here's B/S/T thread on "The other" site (Nemesis251, who's AWESOME). From there, I became a member, he gave me an awesome deal, and, it just became an addiction... I was at a point where I'd gotten a career type job, me and the Mrs. were shacked up, and I just plain had extra money to spend. From there, I found out about this site, started getting more deals here and there, and all of a sudden I realized most of what I was buying were Classics figures, so I said fuck it, and started just looking up the classics listings and buying them all.

I joined at a good time too, because in January, RobotKingdom had their re-release of the City Commander sets. I got that, and protector armor from there, and once I put it together, I was fucking hooked. From there, I had DIA Commander and Shadow within like 2 flippin' weeks. From there, I was like, "Man, I sure wish I had the prime molds to display OUTSIDE of armor as well"... so, I got duplicates of those... and then Magnus came with skywarp, and I was like, "Wow, this mold's really cool" and bought the two starscream versions and acid storm... and from there, I got the conehead seekers.

It's really this odd "chain of events" that keeps happening... like something about a figure/mold will lead me to buying another one, and then that one will make me buy another... and it keeps going and going.

Sorry for the long post :(

Great collection here as you have some I don't even have. I Love it I think with so many different series of TF's.

It's just a 6' shelf. I'm sure if you just asked a salesperson on the floor, they'd point you to them right away.

Wow, just read your "Why I started collecting" and I went through almost exactly the same thing. I haven't gotten my collection all photographed and up here but our collections are very similar. You have a bit more than me though. I also don;t have mine all displayed due to lack of space.

Idea for your Bruticus/Nexus Variant there.
Get a knock off downsized Defensor off ebay. maybe $12 to $20 with shipping and use the chest plate. Make Heatwave's back his chest first. Find yourself a 5mm peg, glue it on in the correct place on the back f the chest plate and there you go. It'll plug right into the hole on his chest. Think it would look good with that crossfire kit, the 2 most recent FP figures and Heatwave as the torso.
Here's what I have using the 1st Crossfire kit. (bought 2 when it came out).
If I ever do get a second Crossfire2 kit along with the TFCC Topspin, I'm thinking air brushing the kit peices black would work well. Anyway just what I really want to do and seeing your collection makes me REALLY want to now!

Update: As soon as I posted this I went on ebay and bid on a set of both...HA! Fingers crossed....1) that I win the auction and 2) that it is at a lower price than my max bid!

I like the creativity, but that thing's not really my style. I think it's just that I don't like the Nexus Maximus head. I am working on a custom Battle Gaia though, so that'll be fun.

And I hear ya on not having space to have everything displayed. I've got quite a bit more stuff just sitting in boxes with no idea where to go with it all, ya' know?

    And oh yea, Wolverenz:

The maker of those shelves is MainStays. It's a white box, and like I said, it's right in their furniture area.. u can't mess them.
