Looks great. I will probably buy this but I have to wonder why no one is redesigning the Abs/chest (so he has square abs) and in the process make a head that is attached to the Abs/chest, top, with a hinge that lets the head set in the chest horizontally. Then it could flip up and sit on top? Does this make sense to anyone?

Yeah, I see what you're talking about. Probably the biggest hurdle in that idea is how the torso plate is pinned in at two hinges. I'm assuming they can't be pushed out like the pin on the back, and the ends you'd have to tap on are likely directly facing each other.

Anyone wondering what the neck kit looks like with the toy head, here 'tis.

Note, in this instance the titanmaster has the mask added, and the legs removed for a slimmer profile (also the head, 'cause that's where the new ball joint goes. ) Fit was good, and the head doesn't flop around (may vary depending on what painting you do ahead of time)

    Still lovin' that design!

This looks amazing! Question, as I have never modified a figure before, how did you guys remove the original gimmick without damaging the figure?

It's just a matter of removing four screws. First the two in the pelvis, then the two in the shoulder pads. The torso halves are assembled around the neck base, so once you take the screws out you can separate the halves and swap out the assembly.

This is awesome! Really interested in this. What grayish color(s) did you use to paint the faceplate?

Tamiya sky grey. I also used metallic grey for the chin and regular red for the eyes.

Thanks for the tip. I think the Asel Art Supply nearby carries that brand, so I'll stop by there sometime soon.

Do you any guidelines on how to match the paint colors you have used in your photos?
I want to buy your shapeways head, but have no idea how to match those colors without wasting money going through various shades of paint

I used Citadel's Xereus Purple, but I've been told that Createx Wicked Violet is a closer match. The other paints I used were Tamiya red, metallic grey, and sky grey.

This my friend is glorious. Are there plans to upgrade Galvi's legs and arms to extend a bit to scale him with the CW Leader Megatron? Galvatron himself is great, but I think he should be in scale or at least made to a leader class to match with Powermaster Optimus' height. I know we got new TR Megatron/Blitzwing and Optimus/Octone, but let's face it, those molds are supposedly the latters.

I don't think it's possible without looking awkward. The figure seems to be the bare-minimum size for voyager class, so extending the limbs would leave it with an undersized body.
