Not of toys, but I do think I now have the 1986 movie in every format it was released on here in the UK. Or, if I'm wrong, at the very least most of them!

    There's VHS, DVD (x2), UMD and Blu-ray.

This was sort of unintentional as I, obviously, originally just had the VHS from when I was a kid, but still watched it now and then.
When the movie got released on DVD I picked it up so I wouldn't wear out the VHS, then again for the 20th anniversary one, then the Blu-ray to see how good that was.
The UMD is the only one I've bought for completion's sake, then again it does give me an alternative film to watch next time I fly over to Botcon :)

Whoa!!! I didn't know they ever put it out on UMD. That's pretty cool. That was one of the first movies I converted to fit on a memory stick when the PSP came out. :thumb

I don't know if they did in the US, think it was one of the first UMDs out over here though based on what I saw in shops.

Very cool! I am still kicking around getting that Blu-Ray of the movie. I still hold out that they release it in the US on Blu-Ray.

It sure was worth getting it cheap and then buying a disc for the PS2 to get it to play R1 discs, and yes great commentary :thumbs2:

I did consider robbing the local cinema, but then I was only 2 in '86 so I wasn't very good at planning capers.

There are two low budget ones you don't have - one has the traditional season 3 artwork on it, and one has the traditional season 1 (!) artwork on it. I think they were released by Prism? Just in case ya want 'em!!

I had the original video release and to me that is the "ultimate" movie artwork right there on the case. Happy memories.

They never released it on Betamax, Divx, or Laserdisc?

I do love that artwork :)

It's not that I was trying to get all the editions of it, just all the formats it was released on. I only have it on DVD twice as the 20th anniversary R1 set is that good. I've seen the cheap ones you've mentioned, I think its on a few of those 'kid's compilation' DVDs as well.

As I said they've all come together by coincidence rather than design, except the UMD which I got for £5 to round it off.

Don't think we ever had LDs in the UK, as for Beta I really don't know, didn't that die a death by '86?
No clue on the DivX either, not really researched this too well!
