Now how lovely is this, I just opened my SDCC Transformers Prime Prime and guess what?? 2 freakn right hands! Great... also didn't come with the instructions either... Sord of frustrating on a SDCC item....GRRR!! Factory issues do happen right? Just wish it wasn't on mines...
It happens sometimes on other figures. I'm sorry to hear about your SDCC Prime. If it were me, I'd keep that Prime back in his nice box for display, and get the upcoming retail release for play, or out-of-box display.
Keep him in truck mode, display the box/Matrix which is alone worth 20 dollars, and display the upcoming deluxe Optimus in robot mode. Edit: calling hasbro works too though.
I'm going to try and see if I can get Hasbro to send me a replacement! It's either that or I want my money back..
Call Hasbro customer service - I believe these are still in stock and they should help you out. Having said that, that is one funny pic!
Prime looks angry! Good luck with getting a replacement, I hope Hasbro will come through and you get to have a complete set. I love that Matrix display.
Ok, so I spoke with CS at Hasbro and they transferred me over to there Consumer Affairs departement where they handle factory "defective" items. They verified all my info, blah blah, blah,... I'll need to send the item back to them for replacement, now the CS rep told me that they were very limited quantites and if I did not get a replacement they would cut a check back to me for the full refund. I was like that's fine not a problem. I really like this item, the box and the art design is beautiful. So here's what I did, I went ahead and placed another order for this item, but will be sending the defective one back in hopes that I get another set back, if by the time I send it back and they are out of stock at least I'll know I secured another purchase and won't miss out on this display piece. If I end up with 2 of them, then hey, great for me..
I got a Generations Wheeljack with two right hands. Yeah, it's frustrating. I do admit, mine was a much easier fix. At least at this point.
Just a little update on this. As many of you know, my 1st order of the SDCC Prime Prime came with 2 right fist. So I sent it back the following day for an exchange but I didn't know how limited HTS was on these exclusive items. So I decided to go ahead and place another order just in case during the return process I would not be lucky in getting in exchange and miss out on this exclusive. Make a long story short, I received my exchanged item and also my 2nd order in the past week or so. So now I have one open that I display and also one MISB that I display as well. Today, when I got home from work I found at my doorstep another Hasbro shippment.... I was like "what's this about?" " I haven't order anything since SDCC Prime??" I open the box up and look what I get...... Another SDCC Prime Prime exclusive MISB for free...... now that's Hasbro Customer Service! wasn't expecting it at all... As you can see, there's my open one, and now the 2 MISB's..
Hasbro did a really nice thing there, that's fantastic. If you don't mind me asking, other than the factory error, how is the quality control like on this figure? -How is the plastic quality? Is it sturdy, or does it feel cheap? Might it wear out? -Any loose joints? -Is the paint solid and strong? Etc. Anyone else who has experience with this figure, I'd appreciate your input. I was wondering if Hasbro has improved on the quality of their figures.

There's a third alternative... Slightly expensive, but not as expensive as buying a whole-new figure... RTS G2 Optimus Prime ahs the same ahnds, in a different colour
