This is my 2nd post after my first on the Classic seekers. This is a repaint of Masterpiece MP-03 Starscream in G1 colours, much the same way I did on my Classic Starscream previously. But I like to give the MP-03 a more modern look, so I painted dark silver on both feets, instead of usual blue. And again no blue on the nose cone. There are no purple decepticon symbols used on the wings but I stick one on the nose, to spice up a little G1 look. The black decepticon insignia were custom made fm Reprolabels. Colours were all painted using Tamiya acrylic spray. Prior to painting of course, the wear & tear issue from moving parts & joints must be resolved first & its a massive work for such a big model. The painted surface are then completed with stencil & markings from Microsoft decals 1/48 scale F-15E Strike Eagle. All panel lines are finished using artist oil paints with some slight weatherings over it. Hope you like it!

Very nice work. Must have been a little time consuming to paint a "masterpiece." ;)

I second the "wow" and the "very impressive". If Hasbro or Takara's looked like that, I would buy it in a heartbeat. Excellent work.

That is just amazing. Much praise must be heaped upon you for not only tackling this repaint on a masterpiece (they are bloody expensive) but also for doing such a bang up job of it. It looks perfect and also goes very well with Skywarp.

If Hasbro can manage to do as good work on the upcoming masterpiece starscream then I will be a very happy chap indeed.

I am loving the seekers masterpeice mould more and more. I want more of them, if only they were half the price they are now :(

still, there is something in the actual figure that in robot mode i dont like at all, can't figure what, maybe the legs are too wierd, maybe those parts on the hips, i dunno, but looking at the classic skywarp for example sounds so much better to the eye

really like the black line- nice little contrasts to the open stretches of color. Kudos.

Very impressive, the paint looks factory, and if you don't look at it from the bottom it looks like a model jet!

I actually thought of doing Dirge first, but decided Ramjet would be better since he'd have less paint and therefore be more durable.

Back on topic so as to not derail this thread: If MP-03 had been released in this color instead of green, they'd have sold alot more of them.

Thank you guys for your kind comments.
Actually if I know that Hasbro & Takara will be releasing in G1 colours, I wud hv use it for my repaint instead of the green MP-03. The light gray mold wud make it easier to paint. I started this project back last Dec & was completed this July. Along the way I stopped & almost give up as the work is really painstaking, especially making sure that to reduce the paint wear fm moving joints.
