    Hi everyone,

I know it's been forever and a day since I have posted anything new customwise on here. I just recently made a copy of my Binaltech Springer custom and listed it on Ebay and wanted to share some of the pictures taken for it. On Tuesday, I will take pictures for some galleries of the long overdue pics of my ALT Hoist and ALT Trailbreaker. I'm finallt starting work on my newest custom, ALT Bumblebee.

    Take care and enjoy!

    -Gregg

I always enjoy seeing your work man! Is TB sporting any Nemesis Prime parts? Those paint apps on Hoist are exceptionally nice, soda! I doesn't look like it. If that is the case, I think that is commendable in itself ;)  Again, nice work!

. . . and this reminds me yet again that I need to replace my Springer that I gave to my best friend for Christmas. *gives Alt Springer a number and tells him to get in line on the customs list*:)

There are no Nemesis Prime parts in either Hoist or Trailbreaker. Those are both created from ALT Primes. I replaced the neck ball joint to accomodate the TB head, and I basically modified the Hoist head to fit the ALT Prime ball joint w/ my dremmel. Was actually quite easy to do.

    Take care,

    -Gregg

Strange, isn't it? How Kitbashes can be so much an improvement rom the original design. I guess it's because KB have more time. Quality work you've done, sodawilly, I know the Bumblebee will be just as good.

Another thing I'd thought I would mention is that both of these figures have the shortened leg mod, to show more of the upper leg. You'll notice for TB I also shortened the top panels on the front of the legs and left them regular height on Hoist. I thought regular size on those would better seeing as Hoist is more of a construction type robot.

    Take care,

    -Gregg

P.S. I'm actually going to start on Bumblebee TODAY! =)

Looks nice. It is kind of cool that in one week there were two Alt. Springers on this board, and that both customizers took a completely different approach- well aside from the head choice.

The paint job looks fantastically clean. It would be cool to see this same custom done, but painted in the stock celery green color Ford uses on the Mustang. Anyways, great job.

DAMN! Those are kickass. The Springer looks pretty nice, the bot mode really works with the sword and such. Although I think it could use a splash of yellow. Kinda looks a little plain being all green, so some yellow would be nice. That Trailbreaker custom's pretty cool too. But the Hoist is F***ING AWSOME! You did a great job on it.
