    That's right.
That's what I'm going to do.
The only news I'll read is that TF4 is happening and that's it.
I will NOT pay attention to any more news until a trailer pops up in the far future.

Basically, I'll eventually stop looking in the movie forums when more TF4 news starts coming around next year (potentially later this year too).

Yea, unfortunately I'm going to be absent from the boards from about March 2014 until I see the movie. I will not get spoiled this time!

This is EXACTLY why I'm not paying attention to the movie boards when more news pops up.
Plus, I want certain things to surprise me, like who will be the new main human (if there is going to be one), and which robots are new and such.

    Good luck with that.

But I'm going to try to do the same thing. As soon as real news actually starts appearing, I'm going to stop visiting the movie section completely, and maybe even visit the forum less in general.

I watched DotM without any idea what was coming, without having read ANY internet grousing, and without any expectations of my own or knowledge of other fans' expectations, and that is definitely the way to do it. It helped my enjoyment of the movie immensely. Never mind the fact I didn't know Sentinel was going to turn traitor -- I didn't even know Sentinel was going to be IN it. And I didn't know Nimoy was going to play him. It was one nice surprise after another.

A good idea, but a difficult one. Good luck with that.

Yeah, I hope to just wait for the movie's first trailer as well. That way, I can avoid all the inconsistent news stories about what exactly the movie is gonna be until then.

"It's a sequel, but with none of the original cast!"
"It's a total reboot, but also directed by Michael Bay!"
    "It's a prequel!"
    "It's a board game!"
And on and on and on, whatever any entertainment website thinks is going on...

    Heh.

This brings me back to when there was a thread named "WHAT AUTOBOT GETS KILLED BY SENTINEL PRIME *SPOILERS*" Yep it completely spoiled the movie for me. And a bunch of idiots putting spoilers in YouTube comments.

Along with not visiting the boards, I will not look at any YouTube comments as well. It'll be hard, but I'm determined to not get spoiled this time.

Ironically, I followed news, and I wasn't spoiled until about an hour before I went to see the movie. My neighbor was reading the plot on his phone, and told me how Ironhide bit it! :lol  Next time I'm not going to be spoiled at all!
