Took my Dad over to Castle Combe circuit for Rally Day for his birthday. Rally Day is an exhibition of many different kinds of rally racing cars, old and new, both on and off the track. I took tons of photos and stuck them here also took some videos and edited them together there (turn your speakers up nice and loud for that one!) Here's some of my favourite shots though to give you a flavour: Audi Quattro S1 evo, at least 500bhp on tap from its 2.0 turbo 5 cylinder engine and probably the most iconic rally car ever built A plethora of Lancia Stratos', I'd never seen one before up close and there were about 7 there, all real ones and all in many colours! A Mustang, US didn't go totally unrepresented, getting sideways after the hairpin of the rally stage on the track. A Ford Escort Mk1 sliding around the same corner. A great day out that my dad and I very much enjoyed, the weather was perfect which left both of us with a bit of sunburn. Definitely going again next year!
