I was at an auction on Sunday and specifically went for this item. This isn't my picture, but mine might as well have been brand new.

Luckily, only me and one other guy wanted it and he backed out early. Its a 9" disc and 48x6 belt, 3/4 horse. And its Jet, they make nice stuff. I also got a stand and a caster cart with it.

How much did I get this for?

    $125

How much do they retail for?

    between $350 and $400.

I finally have a disc sander, no more flipping the belt sander over.

He can use that to work with either wood, or even polystyrene sheets to make scratch-built customs like Lobo does.

I'll be working on my Optimus Prime gun to go with my helmet first, then, who knows.

I'll probably be doing a lot of woodworking stuff on it. I've never had a stationary disc sander, always did stuff on my belt sander flipped over. This is MUCH better.

I'll probably just sand near perfect 45 degree angles on pieces a scrap for a while just because I can.
