My new Radio Control jet! :D  (Jazz has wings too)

Electric ducted fan, 480 Watts... should be good for 80+mph.

For scale, you can see Materpiece, G1 and Classics Skywarp.

Sorry about the cell phone pic.

    EDIT:
Ok...so I took a Multiplex Dogfighter and added a Jazz theme. The guys on the RCGroups forum wont appreciate it so I thought you guys might. :D

If the "m" in "mph" is for milimeters...then yes! It will go at least that fast.

    He must be.

I think it's really fucking sweet. Seems more like a Radicons or Toyark thing, though.

    Cool!
RC Jets rock... but generally speaking, they're not a good choice for a first RC plane if you haven't flown before... high speeds, low thrust mean that it's easy to get into trouble.

RCGroups.com: The ABCs of Radio Control - Aircraft, Boats, and Cars! - great forums if you want to get started!!

I have a ton of planes and I have been dying to paint one up like a TF for a long time. I was close to buying am A-10 model to paint maroon... but I had to start with a seeker jet (of course!!) :)

That is amazingly awesome. If I ever get a jet like that, I'm so hiring you to turn it into a Skywarp for me. :D

I always get excited about RC aircraft. I'm not even a massive plane/helicopter nut or anything, but you know when you were little and a trip to the action figures isle at ToysRUs was totally amazing, just looking at all the boxes full of mind-blowingly cool toys? Trips to the model shop to buy customising supplies it invariably end in me gazing longingly at boxes of this stuff these days. definitely proper grown-up toys :)  you shot any vids of it flying yet?

edit. that looks fairly small actually, some of the F15 RCs i've had a look at are absolutely freaking MASSIVE - and apparently powered by the imprisoned souls of first-born virgin royalty, given how much they cost to buy/run - if you don't mind me asking, how much did you pay?

Call me ignorant but how exactly do RC planes fly? I know how RC helicopters work obviously, but how do planes work? Little turbine engines or something? I just have trouble imagining the poor thing getting enough thrust to get airborne.
