    Dammit.

I've had him a DAY. A freaking day, and his left arm hinge split, when I was trying to transform him for the second time. Nothing crazy.

If he stands there its ok, but if I have to move that hinge, it'll flex apart, get caught on that oval piece with the two screws and prevent it moving... And its all because the silver plastic is kinda soft, so the missing bit to accomodate the ratchet tab tore and went all the way through.

So careful with your Megs. Seems like Takara/Tomy went the opposite route, softer plastic as opposed to MP03's brittle plastic.

So yeah. Bummer. I'm trying to work out if I can fix it, Superglue won't hold, maybe araldite or epoxy, something that can withstand pulling.

    Holly sh*t!

I alway saw him as poor designed, but this is too much.

I knew that those slim extremities (arms and legs) were gonna produce some problem.

Well, sorry to hear that pal. :(

Oh man, sorry to hear about the bad news now I'm even more paranoid about transforming him! :(  Is it possible for you to take pictures of the broken joint so we can keep an eye out for that particular area?

Ouch, sorry to hear that, man. I only TF'd him once, with no problems, but I read the entire feedback thread about weak areas first... I don't recall anyone else have the arm hinge break, though, unless I missed it...which is entirely possible.

Anyway, I hope you can find a way to fix him.

    *EDIT*

I'd also like to see a pic, so it doesn't happen to me. Thanks

This gap SHOULD NOT BE HERE.

Grumble. I bought 2, one to keep one to sell, but it looks like I might keep no.2 MISB. Which I normally don't do. Grumble.

    Well crap in a hat.

Out of curiousity, can't you just soder it back together? It looks like it wasn't wielded together properly.

Its a single cast piece of silver plastic, not metal. The plastic has torn all the way through, so any repair will have to fuse that gap together.

    Edit

Which you probably knew right? You're suggexting soldering it together, as in melting it together? Hmm. That might work better than a chemical adhesive... Must think on this, but am too tired right now.

I think I will just take him out and leave him alone and not Transform him.
