The "Alcee" KO figure is a decent stand in for a Masterpiece Arcee right out of the box. I like how the car top can be removed for a better robot mode, but it doesn't have to parts-form unless you want less bot back kibble. I wanted to make mine a little closer to a Masterpiece figure so I did some work on her. Inspired by the work Snaku is doing to his, I modified my Arcee's hips, but I didn't take anything apart. I just found what was obstructing a more natural look and used my dremel to shave things down. Then I filled in several ugly holes and added some paint work to make her more G1 accurate. Also, just a bit of lipstick painted on that stupid looking mouth pretty much fixed her face in my opinion.
