Ever since I seen Jafs' MP Jazz I wanted one. It wasnt until lately that I've actually had enough free time to start working on it. His follow-along section has been helpfull, but there are many, many things you just dont expect until it's all torn apart and you're left wondering. I'm using the Martini Racing Tamiya kit as a shell and an ALT Ricochet for the chassis. The AMT kit would fit over the robot much better but either kit is pretty hard to find. Although their will be considerably less painting to do with Ricochet as he is almost spot-on with Jazzs' colors. Hopefully this project wont continue to give me one problem after another. And needless to say , this has not been a cheep project. I had to take out massive bits of plastic from Ricochets back end, wheel wells, the front of the dash, and shaved down the edge of the dash to accomidate the windsheild. The trunk peices were cut down and reversed to act as a pivot for the new transformation of the windows. Here we have the Porsche 935 after it was (carefully) cut in all the proper areas Here is a preliminary shot of how it will look on the Alt And here is another of the robot mode Any tips or ideas would be helpfull !
