A couple of weeks ago I posted my My little Project for today thread in regards to my Ark Set Shelf. You can find more details here.

    http://www.tfw2005.com/boards/transformers-toy-discussion/437634-my-little-project-today.html

Well today, I finally got around to doing the Decepticon Nemesis shelf.

Same as the last thread, here is my before picture. Boring baby blue back ground I really did not like:

And here is the after. This is using the Nemesis Panel from this link:

I had to use the flash on that pic, sorry about that. I am not sure I like this as much as I like the Autobot shelf. The problem is that there are too many Decepticons that are purple and because of this the figures kinda get lost on the shelf. Having said that, I personally feel like it looks a lot better then before though.

For a last picture, this is how my shelves now look:

I know some people requested some pics of this, so I hope you enjoy.

    Thanks bro, appreciate it.

In my next project, I am going to see if I can put a nice back drop for my WFC figures.

Very cool. I built a Teletran 1 from those same prints last year. Wanted to do a whole shelf like you did but haven't had a chance. :thumb

Yeah, I think I am going to do that next. I have been meaning to make the Teletraan as well. Did you shrink it to fit a 8 1/2 x 11 or did you do it on a 11x17 as he suggested. I think the 11x17 would just be way to large for Classics. It's fine for alternators.

Haha, I am going to have to call you out on this one. I actually posted it in the post. I know most people don't read when their are pics, so here is the link again. :thumbs2:

Also, if I misunderstood and you meant where did I go to get them printed. What I did was use the prints from above. I then took a paint program and merged 3 panels for the back and 3 panels for the floor into 1 big image. The 2 sides were there and fit the sides just fine.

I then took this to Costco and had it printed. The sides I used a 12x12 and the back and the floor I used a 12"x36". Total cost was $17 for the printing.

My shelf actually had no backing, so I bought foam board and used tacks to hold it in place. Used double side tape to make everything stick. That was like another $8 all together.

So if you want to do this, it will run you like $25 a shelf.

Looks great. I see what you mean about purple getting lost though, maybe some clever lighting could help.

Yeah, no problem, I knew you wanted to see this. Glad you like it.

Not sure how I would do the light, its a pretty basic ikea shelf.

When I get my new shelf, I am so doing this. Maybe with a third shelf with a space background for Unicron.
