I don't have a Maximus, so I don't know the mold all that well, but it does look like that could be glued back on pretty easily without affecting anything all that much.

Well the problem is where is separated, it is pretty thin plastic (its hollow on the inside). I have him drying right now, but I don't know how well it will hold

you just gotta reinforce it with something.

it broke while you were moving the arm or elbow, right? my fort max had stress marks in that spot on both arms.

Perhaps a section inside the arm to attach the arm to acting as reinforcement might work, depending on the area. If you put a block in there, and attach the damaged arm to the block itself as well as the upper arm, it should become a lot more stable, I hope.

I hope you can fix him, Grand Max is super-hard to find. I don't even want to think how much a junker would set you back on him (though you might get lucky on Yahoo Japan auctions I guess)

You may be able to drill and pin it back together and put in a couple of extra pins for reinforcement. If you post some more detailed pics of the broken pieces, Im sure folks in the kitbashers forum would be able to help.

Ouch! Hope you can get him to hold together ok. I'd probably never touch his arm again, though unless you use pins or somehow reinforce the area

    Good luck!

Sorry for the lack of updates. Basically the arm/shoulder is formed of a few pieces. You have a "cap" that forms his shoulder, and then you have a piece that forms the inside of the shoulder and the top part of the arm to the elbow. So the arm actually broke away from the inside shoulder. Where it broke there is no where to attach any kind of support because it goes from a hollow to solid piece. SO, I attached it with some model glue that dissolves the plastic and then rebonds. However it only glued the small ridges from where the break occured. It looks passible, but I am afraid to move the arm, since it broke right on the piece that rotates the shoulder. Also you can't bend the elbow because the joint is so tight, it put stress on the plastic. As for how it happened. I bought it off ebay, and the dude put it in this tiny flimsy box, and shipped it overseas. If you want to see all the pics, even the box goto
