Unfortunately there is no way I can provide evidence, so you'll just have to trust me.

I work at the Home Office for big-box retailer (Having paid my dues for 11yrs as a retail-manager, I'll add :) ). Every coupla months they have a giant tag-sale in the cafeteria to clear out all the samples that Vendors bring in to show our buyers.

    I'd recently noticed 2 things.

1: My local store was carrying a lot more and better Hasbro product than usual, specifically TFs
2: Peeking through the cafeteria windows there were a lot of toys.

So, I actually decided to go down. (I've skipped 'em until now, it's CRAZY! BlackFriday-level-madness!)

    Well who'd I find?

    Supreme Devestator.

I had NO intention of buying this puppy, but I figured, well hell, it's supposed to be "10 cents on the dollar" pricing, why not.

Try .03 cents on the dollar.

    3 Bucks.

Got one of those little NFL-Bots for a buck too.

Wish it were a figure I actually liked, but this tops my $5 MIB G1 Powermaster Optimus Prime (In 1997) story (Though feel free to ask me about that one!)

    Giddy with toy-hunt joy!

$3 for Devastator? I'll wait until he goes on clearance.

Not that I'm jealous or anything.

Yeah, I think this will go down as my best find ever, I should hold onto him for that reason if no other, I think.

Thanks for the good vibes guys, I was having little mini BotCon Dealer room flashes (Only with inverse-proportional pricing..), and had to share!

Well I just got him out of the box, weirdly the instructions are missing (Not TOO weirdly, since the Hasbro had opened it to demo it to our buyer) the "I'm disassembled in the box, this is how you put me together" afterthought-mini-instructions were there though.

Turns out it hardly matters as this guy is about as complex as Road Hauler (Or GoGo Gobots Primus, as I like to call him). I would have HATED myself if I got this thing for $100, at $3, I'm still feeling like I'm not getting enough play-value for my tf-dollar.

The electronics are pretty cool though, and I think I'm gonna put him in my MICRON display, which'll render the vehicles to a almost-proper-scale.

I really like Scavenger (Mostly as a potential micron-base), don't care much for Mixmaster, and the other guys just seem meh.

    But 3 bucks, I can't complain ;)

Dude, thats awesome!! I love to hear stories like this! Myself, I'd put up to $30 on this figure. I like the idea of a micron base scenario, or Devs being set-up w/ some micron aor legends sizing action. In fact I can see this Devs w/ an assortment of legends action around him. Excellent aquisition!!

    PM Prime for how much???
