My first transformer action figure ! animated megatron

I don't live in the USA ,England or Canada... or any developed country. As you can imagine the rare time we get actual tranformers toys (and not cheap knock offs) they fly off the shelves like hot butter.

I was so psyched when I went into my local variety store, and amongst all the cheap knock-offs, I saw this one animated cybertron mode megatron.
    I picked it up immediately.

Granted the mold isn't as refined as it would be in the USA (notice the unpainted cannon) I am still glad for it. It is very posable.

This is the first transformer figure that I have bought with my own money, now that I am a working man. In fact, it is my first transformer figure since I had Rhinox from beast wars, way back when I was a kid.

I'm finally a collector too, woot.

Wow, I had Rhinox as a kid too! That was one of my absolute favorites as a kid.

I know how hard it is to collect toys last time back in my country, where we might get good stuff, but only sometimes at exorbitant prices! (Deluxes cost the same as Voyagers here, and Voyagers are a Voyager and a Deluxe)

I hope you like your Megatron. I also hope you can find more good stuff there. Anyways, congratulations!

Very good! You may only have two figures, but always remember, it doesn't matter how many toys you have, just loving two toys from the brand makes you a fan. Happy Holidays. :)

there were two versions. The one you were thinking of was a deluxe sized version sold with deluxe Animated Prime. The other version of Megatron is a voyager sized. From what I can tell from the pics it is the deluxe sized one.

Edit: After looking at my Voyager one I stand corrected. As others have said, it is from the deluxe mold.

No. It's a beefed up Deluxe.

Congratulations on your first plastic crack purchase!

Cool dude, congrats on your purchase!

Although I wish you guys had access to more toys, that Animated Megatron isn't the best TF that can be offered.

But hey, it's definitely better than nothing!

Thanks you guys. I was seriously considering Ebay .. but when I saw this... I just had to get it .. I mean it was right in front of me physically ..how could I not ?

But, I suppose .. as monthly saving start building up, I will slowly build a little collection, from internet shopping. Granted my collection won't be the grandest on this site.

Transformers I am also considering are:
    animated voyager prime (earth)
    2009 movie prime
    some other favourite characters...

The way I see it. If my bro has a set of Ninja Turtles (shredder & master splinter included) on his setti in his house, I can put up a few transformers too.

I think the biggest win is that you found one outright instead of having to Ebay it. But really, check out the Junkion Exchange here on the boards. You will find there's a lot of figures for the having in there that are either loose or sealed. It's a great way to build up a collection.
