Well like the title says, this is my first semi-scratchbuild. Soundwave. The base is a classics seeker, the rest is styrene and tamiya putty. I plan to make a ravage and laserbeak cassetticons for him for now here are some pics of my progress. Please be gentle with the critiques, this is my first scratchbuild, and this was all done in about 8 hours.

Back, showing how the head will be on a sliding assembly. And the battery compartment.

weapons, battery compartment door, and the piece for after the head is attached.

Hope you like. He is a little smaller than a seeker. Some of you were wondering what the extra seeker /parts were in my "classics seekers" thread, here he is. Any questions feel free to ask.

Heh, that's awesome! I'll be looking forward to the final version. I like how you used Ramjet as the base.

To answer some of your questions:

    Sorry no depends/diapers here.

The door has clear pvc, the outter rim is regular styrene. The putty is mainly to fill holes, and odd shapes that couldn't be made with styrene. Also to fill the big gaps.

And alt. mode pics will come shortly. Just added other stuff that I want to clean up and wait for the styrene stuff to dry.
