Could use some more highlights to break up the big blobs of color in some areas, but you'll get better at that over time. You're off to a good start.

The color schemes are great. I like your style with the whole take them or leave them message, cuz you know either way you'll enjoy them right? Did you take them apart or just paint as is

Yup, some highlights are just what's needed, but congrats on your first repaints. Did you brush them?

My God... there's a small fortune on that shelf.

Great looking figures, I wanted to do the same with Megatron.

Thanks for all the kind words, and yes there is a fortune on that shelf, and that's just a small chunk :)

Anyway, they're just brush paints. I decided after the pain in the ass that was removing that one pin on Megs's wings, that I definately did NOT have the patience to disassemble these things piece by piece.

I was thinking about getting some sculpy and filling in Magnus's stomach area to match G1 a little better and maybe giving him a face, but I'm in Art school, and the one thing I hated most was the sculpting, so I don't know if I want to risk fucking it up.

As for alt mode pics, the Magnus looks essentially the same, and I haven't finished painting the wings/casing on Megs, because I don't really think I'll ever be displaying him in gun mode, anyway.

Got me a CJ for my birthday today, and got a deeper red base coat down already. Looks MUCH better. I might consider tooling some grooves into his head.
