Roadbuster is actually a decent figure IMO but suffers from looking incredibly dull and grey in bot mode, so i thought I'd have a go at repainting him.

I've never painted a TF before, so I was a little cautious about joints and so on (hence the balljoint on his shoulder still being grey.

The flash hasn't really done the green justice, as under natural light is pretty much indistinguishable from the green on the alt mode.

I painted him freehand using Citadel paints. namely Chainmail and Dark Angel Green.

Look forward to any feedback. I have pretty much committed myself to repainting all the Wreckers now.

That looks way better than the dull grey.

That's great! I really need to try that myself, never painted that much of a figure before.

How was the transformation like? The mold looks 'tight'. Nice job by the way.

He still transforms just fine. He's only been transformed back and forth a couple times since he was repainted, and I left him alone for a full week after painting. The missile launchers on the back are a snug fit, and the head is a pain to get in the right spot, but those 2 issues were there before I started painting. There is very slight chipping at the underside of the hips from me forcing the head there when transforming, but at least it's out of sight, and I think I can do it without so much effort from now on.

    Thanks for the comments everyone.
