Well I got to say its a great Devastator. The darker green makes it unique, but all and all nice job.
Awesome job... I bet it feels good to have him done. My one recommendation, is a heavy shower in Testor's DullCote
Really nice job... personally I prefer paints with more of a matte finish, but the dark "realistic" colour looks great, and that head is an awesome topper to the project! Also, I'll mention that I like the guns on the hips... an oft-overlooked nod to the original G1 Devastator, and those... um... cylinders or whatever on his hips. zmog
I have to say he turned out really nice, man, congrats . I hope you plan to take a lot more pictures, and submit it to the gallery.
My brother has the good Camera. I'll let him put together some pics worthy of the Gallery. Dev may still need touch ups and maybe some drybrushing for details. I have to experiment first.
Looks really nice. I like the use of the darker shade of green. Also, you're thanking me? What did I have to do with this awesome project?
I did notice those blasters on his hips it kinda reminds me of those old western gunslingers, but anyway its a nice touch though it gives Devastator that old western badass gunslinger look. I like it.
That's the first dev I see using Primus's crotch and it does look good. Color scheme is very nice...very toonish..I like that and Sculpt-bot's head fits quite nicely with that Dev bash. Well done
Thanks. I couldn't have done it without everyone else's inspirations. We've got a lot of real artists on this board, doing things I never thought possible. I'm really looking forward to your Superion as well.
Pretty sweet, I might look into getting some of the guys to do one of these. I've never kitbashed before though, and I want to do a thorough job of painting. Ps. How has everyone made their Mixmasters?
All of our mixmasters were made a little different. That's the one thing I've noticed between all of the Dev's out there. I took off Energon Barricade's front cab and used a matchbox cement truck to replace it. His cab and mixer are held in place with magnets in robot, truck and foot mode. They are the Gauss magnets (thanks FR) which are really strong. Cement Truck Magnets
