I've been a big fan of combiner teams/gestalts for many years and I have obtained a loose and complete authentic version of every US G1 combiner. However, nothing could have prepared me for the awesomeness that is a G1 Giftset. It is with great appreciation that I share this beauty with you guys/gals and I can only hope there are more giftsets in my future. It is 100% parts complete and is only missing the instruction manual. One side flap is still sealed and the other appears to have been cut by an employee with a box cutter. Other than that, I think it's in great shape for a 25 year old toy. The figures themselves are near perfect and as tight as any new toy I've opened recently. It really is an amazing piece. Enjoy!

Very nice I bet that squeaking styrofoam noise was fantastic, I've never had a set, but I do have a complete Computron.

Enjoy it, what's the big empty hole int he top for?

Would have preferred the Japanese box art instead. The US one just looked...funny? :redface2:

    Congrats nevertheless. :thumbs2:

I assume the long space on the top left was for the paperwork and stickers and the space on the top right was for the individual weapons.

Indeed. It arrived today and I had the biggest Christmas face you've ever seen while unboxing it. :D

You can say that again. I would LOVE to have a REISSUE of this guy. I LOVE combiners myself cause I am not lacking that many more till I have a complete combiner set. 1 day I hope to say that I OWN every combiner set but I don't know if that would happen. Great purchase their my friend.

If you reread his description of the set he got, you'll see that it was MIB (missing instructions) and not actually MISB.
Anyhow, just imagine getting one of the giftsets back in the day when you were a kid. FIVE combining TF's in one fell swoop. I never had any of the giftsets, so I can only imagine...

Anyhow, nice bounty! Computron's parts are in my opinion slightly lacking, except for Lightspeed, but the combined form is amazing.

And thanks for all the love for this set. I'm still marveling at it.

I never got any giftsets, but I got each of my combiners all at once. Computron was always one of my favorites. I seem to recall that he was the sturdiest of the ones that I had.

That was one Transformer I forgot about until I watched an episode of Transformers Season 3. I hope one day they will reissue Computron.
