I've been dreaming about repainting some of my Transformers for a while now but I didn't want to spend alot of money on an official toy only to mess it up. A solution came to me in the form of my local £1 shop. I found a variety of knockoffs in there and more repaints are on their way. I went for a really battle worn look and as a result his paint job looks all rough. I liked the effect and in a rush to post my repaint I didn't do any touching up that I should have done. After looking at the pictures I've noticed some wear on the joints, but i'll sort it out sooner or later. Anyway; my first ever repaint. C&C's much appreciated.

I hadn't thought of a name yet. Any suggestions appreciated. I was wondering how I could apply faction logo's. I live in the UK and I don't want to have to pay to ship reprolabel stuff. Any ideas?

Find an image of a faction symbol and print it on regular label paper. (just make sure it's the right size first)

    EDIT: Example

That's a nice start and welcome to the club!

I sometimes use a marker to "paint" the balljoints.

Like the idea for the faction symbols I shall be trying that out. Thanks for the positive feedback guys, its nice to have people compliment your work. More is on the way. I have another 3 customs coming soon, all plane alt modes. I'm nearly finished one which I started today. All in a real nice matt black.
