So this it my first stab at one of these, been interested in doing one for a while on my car. It be a 1987 Chevy El Camino, and here's what I've got so far... This is what I've got on the Robot mode so far. The front of the car splits along the headlights to form the shoulders. When I get some more pics of it I'll use the middle of the hood to armor the arms (the cars in the shop). The rear of the car forms the legs. I havent decided on what to use the rear wheels for. I was thinking either knee caps or feet. The grill and middle of the bumper form the chest area. Lastly the doors form wing things. heres the alt mode for those who've never seen an el camino
Looks good so far....and I like Elky's, especially the ones with the Malibu front end like you have, dont care too much for the ones with the Monte Carlo front end though....what you got in it?....factory engine?...rally wheels?....they really look nice with rally's Anyways, keep us posted on the digi
Everything in it is factory, and no rally wheels, just normal ones with a thin whitewall. And thanks for the compliments
okay so a slight update, I added in all four tires. The rear tires become the knees and the front tires become the side of the torso. also I was wondering if anyone had any suggestions on how I can fill in the gaps on the legs and chest as well as making arms and a head. Help is welcomed and thanked!
The way some of the car parts fit in bot mode kinda remind me of Alternator Mirage......kinda....more so in the legs. Maybe check him out & see if any ideas pop up...? If you don't own him there are some great pics in the gallery. http://www.tfw2005.com/gallery/data/1427/medium/Alternators_Mirage_Bot_10.jpg What about the hood ? TTT
I know this is a digibash but if you stripped movie iron hide you could make this. Its got a similar hape. An idea forthe future?
