I've been toying around with the idea of trying to maybe mod one of my figures with like a model car body or something of that sort. I'm not exactly sure how to start, so I took most of Bumblebee's car body off, I fixed the wings so that they rotate all the way around and I managed to screw up the blade in the gun. Oh well. I'm not sure what kinda car body I want yet, but tell me what you think might look good.

edit: sorry if the pictures are blurry. my camera isnt exactly cutting edge technology.

    Here's some pics.

I'd think for a reshell project like this, you'll simply need to lay your plans out a bit more specifically. I'd suggest getting the model kit that you plan to use and seeing how it will line up with Bumblebee. I think if you do a few more things like this, you'll be more on your way.

Definitely keep us posted on your work :thumb

I would recommend the Testors model car kits, most of them are the same scale with transformers, and they are already shells, easy for customizing.

What he said. Those are great for customizing.

P.S. Davidarruda, could I have Bee's head if you're finished with him?

sure, but i'd have to send it in an envelope. i gots no boxes.
just pm me your address and all that bs and i'll get it to you

and about this custom, i'm pretty much done with it. until i run into a hobby shop some where. theres not any around where i live.

oh, and i got off the windows and mirrors off the doors and cut off the blaster part of the blaster/blade so now its just a blade. and i like the way bumblebee looks now without the roof and those annoying thigh panels.
