I normally paint 28mm scale models so this was a bit of a change. I was really surprised with the amount of detail on Ratchet, but none of it was easy to see with the paint app, my goal was to bring out some of the details in the arms and legs as well as some other minor areas.

Overall I like it. I had some trouble with my screwdriver, It stripped a screw on the left shoulder. I would also like to cover up the screw holes with some putty next time. While they don't look to out of place on the legs the screws bug me on the shoulders.

I used Acrylic paints for this, which tend to chip off very easy and I need to find the right finish for it. Suggestions would be welcome.

The hands were connected at the wrist by a circular opening. A peg in the forearm holds the hand in place. Rachet's thumb is a separate piece from the rest of the hand. If you had a similar hand or some other bits you can easily swap hands.

The heads a bit trickier. I didn't take it off to paint it but it seems held in by a single screw, although to get to it, it seems you would need to take apart most of the front end.
